It's called privilege.

Whether you think it's because of pride or principle or morals, the only reason someone turns down $10k is because they're in a privileged position to do so.

@rizzn If someone offered me that same deal, I’d respond the same way. Not out of privilege, out of caution. It seems like a scam. In the modern era of Nigerian princes and “we’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty,” someone saying “get a crypto wallet and send me the address and I’ll give you $10k” ranks among them. Calling that privilege IS privilege. You’re so financially stable you don’t have to be cautious with your money. I have to watch every penny of every check.
